Dr. Melanie B Kinchen is an orthopaedic spine surgeon who prioritizes patient education and empowerment. Mentored by world-renowned Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon Dr John P. Kostuik, Dr. Kinchen provides the highest quality of patient care with excellent outcomes. She has a personal and concierge-style approach that is often missing in today’s healthcare system. Dr. Kinchen received her Bachelor’s Degree from Yale University and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed her orthopaedic surgery residency and fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Over her 20-plus year illustrious career, Dr. Kinchen has developed several spinal programs in Texas and California. She is widely recognized as an expert in adolescent and adult deformity and minimally invasive procedures. She looks forward to serving the spinal needs of the patients in the Atlanta community and surrounding areas.
